It’s All the Rage
There’s only one way to be fashionable while you are touring Europe. You need a long leather trench coat. During my last trip to Italy, I saw everyone wearing these coats, both men and women. I didn’t have one at the time and I felt really out of place. I bought a womens leather trench coat for myself as soon as I got back to the United States. I picked one that was made from high quality leather and would last for a long time. It is so soft and feels great against my skin.
While many people see the trench coat and think it’s just a form of fashion expression, there is actually a wide and varied history behind the coat. This includes an incredible amount of references and import in popular culture. To that end, there have been many fictional characters whose entire look depended on their signature trench coat. Just think how Dick Tracy would be different if he didn’t sport that distinctive yellow trench coat. And imagine how wrong Humphrey Bogart would appear in “Casablanca” if his onscreen character, Rick Blaine, didn’t send away his lady love forever while sporting a classic khaki trench.
